Almost a year after conceiving the idea of a residential development featuring upscale homes on Haystack Mountain, Wayne Robertson and his nephew Earl Fatkin broke ground on the 20-acre parcel between Seton Drive and Camden Avenue on April 5, 2007.

The two have joined forces to create Braddock Heights Development Inc.

"We're trying to make it a nice place!"

Mayor Lee Feidler anticipates the development will get a blend of both local residents and out-of-town buyers. 

"There's no question in my mind it's moving ahead.  From what I am hearing around the city, it's in high interest."
